I got a condenser mic (AKG Perception), a pop filter, a tripod mic stand, and a USB mic preamp for the hell of it.
I also have studio monitors (M-Audio AV40) and a 80W sub (dayton)…
and then open-back studio headphones (AKG K701)…
and in ear monitors (Klipsch Image S4i)…
and some other open-back headphones (Grado SR80i)…
and a headphone amp (FiiO E7)…
and in the past six months I’ve given away two pairs of headphones I’m not using…
Good thing I don’t have a digital-out sound card. I’d probably buy a big DAC if I did (which would be equivalent to the cost of my audio gear).
